I started Axiom because I saw a gap in how properties are inspected in Newfoundland. Most inspectors tell you what's broken today. I wanted to build a practice that tells you what's coming next — when your roof will need replacing, when your furnace is nearing end of life, and what those costs look like over the next five years.
My background isn't in home inspections — it's in buildings. I hold a Civil Engineering Technology diploma from the College of the North Atlantic and I'm a career firefighter with St. John's Regional Fire Department. I've spent years inside buildings under the worst conditions, and I understand how they're constructed, how they age, and how they fail. That's the lens I bring to every inspection.
Axiom is advisory only. I don't do repairs, I don't sell materials, and I don't take referral fees from contractors. The report is the product — and it's the only thing I have to get right.
